This is a combination Jazz/Hip Hop/Lyrical class for dancers in 4th and 5th grade. This class meets one hour per week. Dancers must also be enrolled in a Core Kick class. This class will branch out from the Core Kick curriculum by focusing on three styles: Hip Hop, Jazz, and Lyrical, with an emphasis on flexibility, strength training, and beginner technique. This class will participate in two out of town competitive events in the spring.

Sofia Augustadt
Head InstructorCoach Sofia started dancing with Just For Kix in 2013, and she earned her 10-year award in 2023. Her favorite dance memory is placing at TWD Competition because it gave her confidence as a dancer and made her feel like part of the team. Sofia assists with the Wee Kix and Jazz/Hip Hop classes, and she is a member of the Senior Kix and Senior Jazz/Hip Hop teams. Her skills and mastery of choreography are strong, and she is an excellent role model for our intermediate dancers. We are grateful to have her on our JFK staff!
