Clarkston Asotin - WA Just For Kix Director Sandy House is at the top of her game teaching dance classes in Clarkston Asotin - WA to children, which creates confidence, dance technique, friendship and a whole lot of fun!
Sandy House has been a choreographer, dance team coach, and youth dance program director for over 35 years. Prior to moving to Idaho, she directed the Just For Kix Dance Studio in St. Cloud, MN for 27 years. There she directed more than 700 students, taking classes in Kick, Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet, Tap and Hip Hop. She was also the Sauk Rapids Storm Dance Team Head Coach in Sauk Rapids, MN for 5 years (2010-2015), and prior to that coached the Brainerd Kixters Dance Team, and Park Center Pirouettes Dance team, both in Minnesota. Her experience also includes instructing at Just For Kix High School Dance Camps in Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, South Dakota, Illinois and Washington. She also assisted in putting on half time shows in the Holiday Bowl, Freedom Bowl and several Outback Bowls. She judged state competitions in Iowa and North Dakota. Sandy, and her family, moved to Lewiston, Idaho, in June 2015 where she has since started a high school dance team at Clarkston High School, and has started a Just For Kix Dance Program in Clarkston WA and Asotin Wa. She is currently a Field Coordinator for the Just For Kix Corporation and is developing Just For Kix Dance Programs the three state area Idaho, Washington and Oregon. She currently started the Salem, Milwaukie, Welsh, Springfield Oregon, and Post Falls Id.
As an established youth dance studio, Just For Kix is a leader in dance instruction. We offer proven technical training, a focus on teamwork and a respectful experience to our students. With a strong balance of fun and technique in our classes, we create a teaching environment that is low stress and less pressure. Styles vary from location to location offering everything from: Kick • Jazz • Lyrical • Hip Hop • Ballet • Tap • Pom.
As dancers progress through our studio, they experience the health and fitness benefits of working to build cardiovascular endurance, strength and flexibility, along with the core attributes of confidence, pride and friendship. Jewl has been dancing for seventeen years. She did competitive dance for four years at the Clarkston High School and won 1st at state her freshman year. She has been an assistant teacher for four years and a head teacher for these past two years. Her speciality is Hip Hop and Kick. She loves Hip Hop! She loves learning and teaching new tricks and have fun dancing with the kids in class. She is very excited for this new year and see a bunch of new faces, and working with new teachers also.
