Crosby - MN Just For Kix Director Amy Lundgren is at the top of her game teaching dance classes in Crosby - MN to children, which creates confidence, dance technique, friendship and a whole lot of fun!
Amy has been part of the JFK family since "Mini Kix" started in Crosby in 4th grade. From there she was a captain on the award-winning C-I Rangerettes, where they earned two State Championships, a 2nd and 3rd place. She subsequently became the coach for six years, where the team won the State title in 1996, runners-up for kick and jazz for two years in a row and then placed third. Having performed in the Fiesta Bowl in HS, she went on to lead a HS team at the Orange Bowl and another at the Outback Bowl in Florida. She previously judged JFK TWD competitions and served as a HS judge through JAM, Judges Association of Minnesota. Amy became a head instructor in 1998 for Crosby Just for Kix and Pequot, then became director of the C-I program. After returning to coach CI Rangerettes for another 4 years, where in 2015 the team placed 3rd at State, she took just one year off of dance before returning as director. Sharing the passion of dance for all those years, she became a Director of the Year in 2008 and continues to share the love of dance with area students. When not working as a court reporter, Amy enjoys mountain biking, boating, spending time with family/friends and having dogs Loki and Gunnar take her for walks. Having a blended family with Dale of 7 kids and 9 grandkids, she's eager to treat your child as one of her own!
As an established youth dance studio, Just For Kix is a leader in dance instruction. We offer proven technical training, a focus on teamwork and a respectful experience to our students. With a strong balance of fun and technique in our classes, we create a teaching environment that is low stress and less pressure. Styles vary from location to location offering everything from: Kick • Jazz • Lyrical • Hip Hop • Ballet • Tap • Pom.
As dancers progress through our studio, they experience the health and fitness benefits of working to build cardiovascular endurance, strength and flexibility, along with the core attributes of confidence, pride and friendship.
