Edgerton - MN Just For Kix Director Andrea Zwart is at the top of her game teaching dance classes in Edgerton - MN to children, which creates confidence, dance technique, friendship and a whole lot of fun!
Hello! My name is Andrea Zwart and I am the Edgerton Just For Kix Director. I grew up in Northfield, MN where I was a 3 year, 6 season member of my High School Dance Team. During my Junior year on the team we were Conference, Section and State Champions in High Kick. My Senior year we were Conference and Section runner-ups and 3rd place at State in High Kick. I attended college at SMSU in Marshall, MN where I studied Elementary Education and Psychology. During my time in college I danced with SMSU Dance Team for one season before transitioning over to coaching with the Marshall Tiger Dance Team from 2007-2013. Our Varsity Kick and Jazz teams were Section champions multiple times, 4 years consecutively for Kick. They also made 9 State appearances in the Kick and Jazz categories. I was hired with Just For Kix in 2011 and have just completed my 10th year as a director. Working as a program director has been the best of both worlds for me, I love teaching dance and I love working with children. Outside of dance, I have a wonderful husband named Max and three children; Jace, Maisyn and a baby boy on the way. When I am not dancing I am usually spending my time with my family or watching husband coach or play baseball. We also love to camp and spend time at our family’s lake house in the summer. Welcome to Just For Kix, I am excited to meet you!
As an established youth dance studio, Just For Kix is a leader in dance instruction. We offer proven technical training, a focus on teamwork and a respectful experience to our students. With a strong balance of fun and technique in our classes, we create a teaching environment that is low stress and less pressure. Styles vary from location to location offering everything from: Kick • Jazz • Lyrical • Hip Hop • Ballet • Tap • Pom.
As dancers progress through our studio, they experience the health and fitness benefits of working to build cardiovascular endurance, strength and flexibility, along with the core attributes of confidence, pride and friendship.
