Fridley - MN Just For Kix Director William Schendel is at the top of her game teaching dance classes in Fridley - MN to children, which creates confidence, dance technique, friendship and a whole lot of fun!
William joined Just for Kix as a student in Becker, Minnesota as a 4th grader and continued dancing with the Becker JFK program through high school. After graduation he joined the Fridley JFK program as an assistant coach. Additionally, William brings 11-years of gymnastics skills to the team and is also a ballroom dance instructor. He is most passionate about bringing positive, team-oriented experiences to his students. <br><br> When he isn’t dancing you will find William trying to keep up with his two chihuahuas (Petey and Piper), making dance-related content and finding creative ways to spend time being active outdoors with his family.
As an established youth dance studio, Just For Kix is a leader in dance instruction. We offer proven technical training, a focus on teamwork and a respectful experience to our students. With a strong balance of fun and technique in our classes, we create a teaching environment that is low stress and less pressure. Styles vary from location to location offering everything from: Kick • Jazz • Lyrical • Hip Hop • Ballet • Tap • Pom.
As dancers progress through our studio, they experience the health and fitness benefits of working to build cardiovascular endurance, strength and flexibility, along with the core attributes of confidence, pride and friendship. Tori Hatten is starting her 3rd year as an assistant and teacher with Fridley JFK! She is also a dancer in our program taking Kick, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Ballet and more. She is a Senior at Irondale high school and a member of the Irondale varsity dance team.
Head Instructor Danah Blaha is in her 5th year as a teacher with Fridley JFK! She is a Just For Kix alumni. She danced in high school on the Spring Lake Park dance team where she made many trips to the State tournament! She is currently the JV head coach of the STMA dance team. She also dances competitively with a local adult team and is a teacher at New Horizons.
