Little Falls - MN Just For Kix Director Amy Gunderson is at the top of her game teaching dance classes in Little Falls - MN to children, which creates confidence, dance technique, friendship and a whole lot of fun!
Amy is entering her 29th year as a Just For Kix Director, bringing a lifelong passion for dance to every class she leads. Her journey began as a student in Just For Kix classes in Brainerd from 5th through 9th grade, followed by three years as a proud Brainerd “Kixter” in high school. During that time, her team earned a 1st place finish at State her sophomore year and 3rd place finishes in her junior and senior years. In 2005, Amy was honored with the Just For Kix Director of the Year award, a testament to her dedication and leadership. She currently directs the Foley, Little Falls, and ROCORI Just For Kix programs, while also working part-time as a Program Coordinator for Sauk Rapids-Rice Community Education. Amy lives in Sauk Rapids with her husband of 24 years, Eric. They have two children: Ella, a senior at the College of St. Benedict and a JFK instructor in Foley and ROCORI, and Will, a sophomore at Winona State University. Amy is excited to welcome your child into the Just For Kix family and share her love of dance with them!
As an established youth dance studio, Just For Kix is a leader in dance instruction. We offer proven technical training, a focus on teamwork and a respectful experience to our students. Ashley has been in dance for 14 years. In just for kix from age 3 to 6th grade then was in high school Dance from 7-10th grade in Pierz and made varsity in 8th grade. She then transferred to Little Falls High School and joined Little Falls Dance in 11th grade. She is an only child.
Hey! My name is Ellie Hughes and I’ve been a dancer with JFK since I was 4! When I’m not at dance practice, I’m working with some amazing kids at Kids Korner or taking my dog Parker for long walks! I’m so excited for this opportunity that combines my passion for dance and my love of working with children. Looking forward to the season!!
I’m Brianna Kaufman and this year I will be attending St. Cloud state university. I was in dance for 9 years and loved every second of it which is why I chose to continue my dancing career as a coach.
I am Sylvia Erwin and I’m in 9th grade and have been dancing with Just For Kix for 12 years now. I started out with Kick and recently started to branch out to doing Hip Hop and this year, Jazz as well. I love spending time with kids and enjoyed my first year of assisting last year! Many memories were made and I can’t wait for the many more to come!
I am 18 years old and am attending St. Cloud State. I have been dancing for about 6 years with Just For Kix and Stroia Ballet and I am planning on continuing dancing into college. I have been teaching ballet at the Stroia Ballet Company for 2 years, and I am excited to help with teaching jazz and senior kix.
Hi! My name is Abigail DeZurik and I’m 18 years old. I’m so excited to help coach this years Just For Kix dancers! I have been dancing for 16 years through Just For Kix. As well as 3 years on the Little Falls Lindys High School Dance Team . I have experience in Jazz, Kick and about a year of both hip hop and ballet. I can’t wait to meet the dancers!
Hello! My name is Emma Hershey. I am 18 years old and I am a senior in High School. This is my third year as an assistant coach and I am very excited to be able to help out again. I have been in dance for 17 years and I have been doing Just For Kix for 14 years. I have been involved in Kick, Jazz and Hip hop through Just For Kix. I am also on the High School dance team and have also been involved in ballet. I love being able to spend time with kids and I am very excited to make many wonderful memories!
Hi! My name is Emily Ottman, and I am a freshman at St. Cloud State University majoring in meteorology. I danced with Just for Kix for 12 years and I have experience in kick, jazz, hiphop, pom, and lyrical. In my free time I enjoy traveling, going to country concerts, and spending time with friends & family. I’m so excited to share my love of dance through coaching!
My name is Julia, and I am a Senior in high school. I danced in Just For Kix for 11 years and did some Lindy dance team with ballet in the summer as well. This is my second year assisting at Just For Kix and I’m so excited! I also work at Anez Consulting doing office work. In my free time I enjoy doing puzzles, reading, organizing, and staying connected to my faith. I can’t wait for this year!
I’m Hailey and I am entering my third year as a Just for Kix coach! I will be coaching special sessions this season! I am 17 and entering my senior year of high school, I’m also entering my 5th year as a varsity dancer and 2nd year as a captain on the Little Falls Lindy’s dance team! I have been dancing for 13 years, 9 of which were with Just for Kix! In my spare time I love being around family and friends as well as working with kids! I currently help in a kindergarten classroom and it’s my favorite place! I am so excited to coach special sessions this season and I’m looking forward to creating more memories with Just for Kix!
