Marshall - MN Just For Kix Director Melissa Rutledge is at the top of her game teaching dance classes in Marshall - MN to children, which creates confidence, dance technique, friendship and a whole lot of fun!
Coach Melissa is excelling as the Director of the Marshall Area Just For Kix youth dance program. With a deep passion for teaching, she is dedicated to helping dancers reach their full potential and is always on the lookout for new ways to elevate their skills. Melissa began her journey with Just For Kix as an instructor in 2007 and is now celebrating her 11th year as Director. Additionally, she has been the Head Varsity Coach at Lakeview High School for three years. Melissa is committed to continuous learning, holding a Progressing Ballet Technique Certification and participating in monthly continuing education classes. Marshall JFK offers dance classes for boys and girls from ages 1 through 12th grade in various styles, including Kick, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and Pom. Classes are held at the SMSU Social Science Building (1510 Stadium Drive, Ste 2) in Marshall. Join our JFK family and experience the joy of dance! We look forward to welcoming you and your dancer!
As an established youth dance studio, Just For Kix is a leader in dance instruction. We offer proven technical training, a focus on teamwork and a respectful experience to our students. With a strong balance of fun and technique in our classes, we create a teaching environment that is low stress and less pressure. Stephanie Cordes, new to teaching, has been cheering on dancers for 10 years since her oldest daughter started dancing. She is excited to be assisting the Teeny Kix, Pre-Petities and Wee Petite’s kick classes this year and hoping to build a solid foundation and love for dance in each dancer in her class. Along the way Stephanie will likely learn a few new dance moves too; her love and knowledge of dance is growing with each class! When Stephanie isn’t teaching dance she can often be found at home baking, watching her two daughters dance or trying to keep up on the world of online gaming which is her son’s favorite hobby.
Jadan is a sophmore at Ridgewater College in Wilmar majoring in nursing. She danced with Just for Kix for 10 years. Taking part in kick, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop teams for those 10 years. Jadan was also a member on the Marshall Tiger Dance Team for 6 years. This will be Jadan's 4th year being an assistant at Just For Kix. She is looking forward to a great year!
Kendra is a senior at the Marshall High School and has been taking dance class since she was 7 years old with Just for Kix. She is on the Marshall Tiger Dance Team and will be starting her 6th year on the team. She has also danced many styles at Just for Kix, including kick, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. Kendra will be starting her second year as a Just for Kix staff member. She loves watching the dancers improve throughout the season.
I am a senior at Marshall High School and have been dancing since the age of 3. I have danced, kick, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop over the years. I have been apart of the Marshall Tiger Dance Team (MTDT) since I was in seventh grade and dance on both varsity kick and jazz. I am so excited to be apart of the JFK staff to help dancers grow and learn new things!
Olivia is a senior at Marshall High School, she began dancing in 6th grade with Just for Kix. She danced two years on the Marshall Tiger Dance Team and has danced hip hop, kick, jazz, and lyrical throughout the years. She is excited to join the Marshall Just for Kix staff. She can't wait to meet all of the dancers and watch them grow.
