McGregor - MN Just For Kix Director Lindsey Becker is at the top of her game teaching dance classes in McGregor - MN to children, which creates confidence, dance technique, friendship and a whole lot of fun!
Lindsey is in her 9th season as the McGregor Just For Kix Director. Her dance career began when she was just three years old, gaining tap, ballet, and jazz experience at local studios in Farmington. In middle school, she transferred to the Farmington Just For Kix program where she participated in kick and jazz until moving to McGregor during high school. She was not ready to give up dancing with Just For Kix, so she commuted to Mora to continue participating in kick and jazz throughout high school as well as joining the local McGregor dance program at that time. After completing college with a teaching degree and coaching certificate, she accepted a position with the McGregor School District. Once she was back in the area, she wanted to bring her passion and joy for dance to the youth in McGregor. She reached out to Just For Kix and they worked together to start a program just two short months later in the fall of 2017. Since then, Lindsey has received the "Big Deal in a Small Town" Award in 2020 for placing in the top 5 out of more than 200 programs for having one of the highest percentages of dancers compared to the town population. She has also taken a group of dancers to perform at the Reliaquest Bowl in Tampa, Florida. When dancers join Just For Kix, it is Lindsey's goal to teach more than just dance. Perseverance, team building and confidence are just a few of the additional skills dancers are learning in the program. She looks forward to getting to know each and every one of her dancers and helping them gain a lifetime passion for dance!
As an established youth dance studio, Just For Kix is a leader in dance instruction. We offer proven technical training, a focus on teamwork and a respectful experience to our students. With a strong balance of fun and technique in our classes, we create a teaching environment that is low stress and less pressure. Styles vary from location to location offering everything from: Kick • Jazz • Lyrical • Hip Hop • Ballet • Tap • Pom.
As dancers progress through our studio, they experience the health and fitness benefits of working to build cardiovascular endurance, strength and flexibility, along with the core attributes of confidence, pride and friendship.
