Savana Kalenberg

My name is Savana Tedrow and I am going into my fifth year as director of the Moorhead Just For Kix Program. I graduated from North Dakota State University with a major in Psychology and a minor is Human Development and Family Science in 2021. I started out dancing at Just For Kix in Fergus Falls, MN when I was two years old. I have trained in the styles of jazz, kick, lyrical, ballet, pointe, hip hop, acrobatics, and pom. Growing up I danced at camps, intensives, conventions, the Outback Bowl, and have 12 years of competition experience. After graduating high school, I moved to Fargo, ND where I danced on the North Dakota State University Dance Team for one year. I found my passion for coaching after being the head coach of the Moorhead Fall Dance Team in 2018. Since then, I have taught at many dance camps, local studios, and am currently one of the assistant coaches for the Moorhead High School Dance Team as well as directing the Moorhead JFK Program. Being a dancer has taught me hard work, confidence, dedication, good sportsmanship, and so many more great qualities that I carry with me today. Being able to watch dancers grow, improve, make friendships that will last a lifetime, and develop confidence in everything they do, brings me great happiness! I can’t wait to share my passion for dance with your dancer!
