Osage - IA Just For Kix Director Amanda Powers is at the top of her game teaching dance classes in Osage - IA to children, which creates confidence, dance technique, friendship and a whole lot of fun!
Amanda Powers is at the top of her game providing a high level dance program with Osage Just for Kix. Amanda has been with Just For Kix for over 25 years. She started as a JFK dancer and then became an assistant right after she graduated. In 2011 she started Directing the St Ansgar program and in 2015 the Osage JFK program. Amanda loves all styles of dance from Kick & Lyrical to Jazz & Hip hop. Amanda says, "I really enjoy spending my evenings with my dancers and seeing their bright smiley faces when they come to class!" Outside of dance Amanda spends time with her husband of 15 years, Darren and their 4 children, Keilee, Bryson, Lexi & Elliot.
As an established youth dance studio, Just For Kix is a leader in dance instruction. We offer proven technical training, a focus on teamwork and a respectful experience to our students. With a strong balance of fun and technique in our classes, we create a teaching environment that is low stress and less pressure. Styles vary from location to location offering everything from: Kick • Jazz • Lyrical • Hip Hop • Ballet • Tap • Pom.
As dancers progress through our studio, they experience the health and fitness benefits of working to build cardiovascular endurance, strength and flexibility, along with the core attributes of confidence, pride and friendship.
