Perham - MN Just For Kix Director Heidi Swenson is at the top of her game teaching dance classes in Perham - MN to children, which creates confidence, dance technique, friendship and a whole lot of fun!
Welcome to Perham JFK! I have been the director of the program since 2003 and have loved every minute! Prior to taking over the program my dance experience includes dancing in the JFK program in my home town as well as being the captain of the HS dance team. I have BS in Psychology from BSU, but have found that my love is working with children. This has brought me to my second job as a substitute teacher for the Perham school district. I live in Perham with my husband, two amazing, busy boys and my dogs. When I'm not dancing, I love boating, reading, exercising, and watching sports!
As an established youth dance studio, Just For Kix is a leader in dance instruction. We offer proven technical training, a focus on teamwork and a respectful experience to our students. With a strong balance of fun and technique in our classes, we create a teaching environment that is low stress and less pressure. Styles vary from location to location offering everything from: Kick • Jazz • Lyrical • Hip Hop • Ballet • Tap • Pom.
As dancers progress through our studio, they experience the health and fitness benefits of working to build cardiovascular endurance, strength and flexibility, along with the core attributes of confidence, pride and friendship.
