Princeton - MN Just For Kix Director Dorian Sjogren is at the top of her game teaching dance classes in Princeton - MN to children, which creates confidence, dance technique, friendship and a whole lot of fun!
Dorian is beginning her 25th year as a Just For Kix Director. Dorian starting dancing at a young age and fell in love with dance. She was on her High School Dance Team. She attended Just For Kix summer camps and performed in the Orange Bowl. She is the Director of the Princeton and Cambridge/Braham Just For Kix dance programs. She received the Just For Kix Rookie Director of the year in 2002 and the Just For Kix Director of the year award in 2011. She has been married to her husband, Eric for 26 years and they have 2 children. Eli and Emersyn and a cute dog named Luna. Dorian looks forward to having your child be a part of Just For Kix and to share her love of dance with them!!
As an established youth dance studio, Just For Kix is a leader in dance instruction. We offer proven technical training, a focus on teamwork and a respectful experience to our students. With a strong balance of fun and technique in our classes, we create a teaching environment that is low stress and less pressure. Meet Amira one of our head instructors. Amira was apart of the Aitkin All Starz dance team for 6 years (4 years on Varsity) dancing High Kick and Jazz where she participated and medaled at the State Tournament. After taking a small break she was able to coach the Aitkin’s Jv dance team for the 2020-2021 season. She just moved to Zimmerman from Brainerd MN In April and work as a behavior technician. In her free time she loves to spend time with friends and family, and watching movies! She is so excited to get back into dance and coaching, This will be her first year Coaching with Just for Kix!
Meet Abby! She danced with Princeton JFK for 8 years and this will be her third year as a coach! She danced in hip hop, kick, jazz, and lyrical. Her favorite dance memory is performing at Rochester her senior year and thinking about how she'll miss performing in front of such a big crowd. She is currently working as a CNA at the Princeton Elim home and is also working towards getting her RN at St. Cloud State. During her free time, she enjoys sewing and being as crafty as she can be. She also loves snowmobiling and spending time at her cabin. She is super excited to be helping this year!
Meet Zoey!! This will be Zoey’s first season as an assistant. Zoey has been dancing with Just For Kix for 6 years. She currently is in Senior Kix, Senior Jazz and Lyrical. She will be helping assist on Monday evenings. Her favorite Just For Kix memory so far is her first Nationals as a Junior Kix and all the memories made at competitions. When Zoey isn’t dancing she enjoys spending her summers at the lake and hanging out with friends and family. Zoey is excited to be a part of the coaching staff this season
Meet Jaycee!! This will be Jaycee's second year coaching and she is so excited to get back into dance! She danced with Princeton Just for Kix for 15 years, taking Kix, Jazz, Hip-hop, and Lyrical classes. She also attended the Outback Bowl her senior year of High School. During the school year she works as a paraprofessional at an elementary school and love working with all the kids! When she's not at work, she loves to go on adventures, travel, catch up with friends, and soak up the sunshine!
