St Ansgar - IA Just For Kix Director Kenya Nelson is at the top of her game teaching dance classes in St Ansgar - IA to children, which creates confidence, dance technique, friendship and a whole lot of fun!
Co-Director: Kenya is a paraprofessional at the St. Ansgar Schools. She is also the head coach of the St. Ansgar High School dance team. Kenya is also a wife and a mother to 4 kids! She loves helping kids and watching them grow!
As an established youth dance studio, Just For Kix is a leader in dance instruction. We offer proven technical training, a focus on teamwork and a respectful experience to our students. With a strong balance of fun and technique in our classes, we create a teaching environment that is low stress and less pressure. Styles vary from location to location offering everything from: Kick • Jazz • Lyrical • Hip Hop • Ballet • Tap • Pom.
As dancers progress through our studio, they experience the health and fitness benefits of working to build cardiovascular endurance, strength and flexibility, along with the core attributes of confidence, pride and friendship. I have been a dancer with Just for kix for twelve years now, and started assisting in the fall of 2017. Over the years, I have taken classes in kick, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. I look forward to coming to dance class every week and getting to have lots of fun learning and teaching with all of our amazing dancers!
