This is a core Kick class for dancers in K-1st. Core Kick is the basis of our program. These classes meet 45 minutes per week. The primary focus of this class will be precision Kick, a very competitive and popular styles of dance for High school and college dance teams. Dancers will also be introduced to the basics of ballet, jazz, movement, and stretching as well. This class will have 3-4 performances throughout the year.

Megan Bookout
Head InstructorMy name is Megan Bookout. Waupun is where I call home with my significant other, Steven and my four children: Alexis (11), Aydan (6), Avery (4), and Acher (3). I graduated from Waupun High School in 2010 and during my high school danced with the Warriorettes for 3 years. Along with that I danced in the various programs that Waupun's community offered since I was 5. The 2024-25 dance season will be my 2nd year assistant teaching here at Waupun Just for Kix. Not only do I get the pleasure of being around this wonderful program as an assistant, two of my children share my love of dance; Alexis is entering her 8th year of dance along with Aydan is entering in his 4th year. I look forward to seeing your dancers in class and helping them embrace their passion for dance.
