There are no auditions or tryouts to be a part of this class. This is a Lyrical dance class for dancers in 7th-9th grade (9th graders can choose between Junior and Senior Lyrical). The focus of the class is lyrical choreography, expression and movement. Jazz & ballet technique, as well as stretching and strengthening, will also be explored. Lyrical dance is a beautiful expression of emotion set to contemporary music while telling a story. A dancer must also take technique to take Lyrical.
