There are no auditions or tryouts to be in this class. Dancers must also be in a technique class to take this class. This is a Lyrical dance class for dancers in 4th-6th grade. Dancers will explore ballet fundamentals and jazz skills, combining them to perform beautiful lyrical routines. The focus of this class is lyrical choreography, expression, and movement. Limited ballet technique, stretching, and strengthening will be covered. Lyrical dance is a beautiful expression of dance to contemporary music while telling a story. Dancers will work on acting and dance skills in this class.
