Hinton - IA Just For Kix Director Stefanie Work is at the top of her game teaching dance classes in Hinton - IA to children, which creates confidence, dance technique, friendship and a whole lot of fun!
Hello everyone! My name is Stefanie Work and I am the director of the Sioux City JFK dance program. I am a Sioux City native and I graduated from West High School. I was on the West High dance team for four years, being an officer my Junior year and a Captain my Senior year. After high school I coached the High School team at West for two years and then went on to take over the Sioux City Just For Kix dance program in 2012. Since taking over the JFK program here in Sioux City, we have grown and had many successful years. In the 2023-2024 dance season we ended the season with a National Championship with our Senior Hip Hop team. I was also awarded Director of the Year in the 2023-2024 season at convention which would not be possible without all of our amazing dancers and families. We are so proud of our dancers over the years and are grateful for the many opportunities the Sioux City JFK dance program has given the Sioux City community. I fully believe in the motto "doing your best is more important then being the best" and we live by this each day. We love to see each kid shine and we are proud of every accomplishment! Thank you parents and families for your continued support of our amazing dance program!!! I am so excited to start year 14 with JUST FOR KIX SOUX CITY!!
As an established youth dance studio, Just For Kix is a leader in dance instruction. We offer proven technical training, a focus on teamwork and a respectful experience to our students. Caitlin Worden is a three year assistant for the Hinton Just For Kix program helping with various classes. She was a previous Just For Kix dancer with many years of dance experience. Caitlin is a junior at Hinton and also a member of the Hinton High School Dance Team. We are looking forward to her assisting with us again this year on Monday nights.
Wendy Archer is a first year assistant for the Hinton Just For Kix program helping with our Preschool to 1st grade classes. She has many years of dance experience recently including being a member of the Midland University Dance Team and currently coaching for the Sioux City West High Dance Team. We are looking forward to her assisting for us this year on Tuesday nights.
Katelyn Lewis is a former member of Hinton JFK whhere she danced for 5 years. Before dancing at JFK Katelyn danced at Unlimited in Spirit Lake for 8 years. After graduating from LeMars Community Schools she went on to dance at USD. Her favorite styles of dance are pom and kick. This will be her 6th year working at JFK and she is excited to watch young dancers grow and compete this season.
